A Mother with Mary to You
Jesus, I pour myself into Your Divine Will,
And here, together with Mary,
I intend to be a mother to You.
As she kissed You, as she sang You lullabies,
As she washed You, dried the tears You cried,
In all she offered, all she said to You,
I intend, with her, in God’s Will, to do.
As she held You, as she prayed for You,
As she rocked You and cared for You,
As she washed and folded Your little clothes,
I intend to do with her what she did for You.
As she watched You grow from day to day,
As she walked with You and watched You play,
As she treasured every memory in her heart,
I intend with Mary to take part.
As she walked beside You through the years,
Shared Your laughter, comforted Your tears,
In every little act of motherhood,
I join my love with hers in all she did.
Together with Mother Mary,
I intend to mother You,
My little Baby Jesus,
So gentle, sweet, and true.
Tender little Jesus,
Yet courageous, brave, and strong,
With Mary I will love You,
And stay with You all along.
