Forgiving Souls Together with Jesus

Jesus, I enter Your Divine Will;

join me to Your mercy still.

With You, I forgive the thief

who turned to You in humble grief.

You stole his soul for Heaven that day

and opened Paradise his way.

With You, I stand beneath the Cross,

where love forgave at greatest cost.

For those who wounded You that day,

You turned to God the Father to pray.

In Your Will, Lord, I forgive;

in Your mercy let me live.

Every wound I give to You;

teach me, Jesus, what to do.

I release what others owe;

every hurt I now let go.

May Your Kingdom come through me;

Jesus, set my spirit free.

With Peter, Lord, I hear You say,

forgive again, day after day.

Seventy times seven still—

let me forgive within Your Will.

I see the man brought through the roof;

You healed his body as Your proof.

But first You pardoned all his sin—

Your mercy healed him from within.

In Your Will, Lord, I forgive;

in Your mercy let me live.

Every wound I give to You;

teach me, Jesus, what to do.

I release what others owe;

every hurt I now let go.

May Your Kingdom come through me;

Jesus, set my spirit free.

I stand beside the woman shamed,

accused by all and openly blamed.

You raised no stone, You showed her grace,

then called her to a holier way.

And Peter, who denied You three,

was met again beside the sea.

You called him back to love once more

and gave him sheep to shepherd for You.

For those who hurt me, Lord, I pray;

I will not hold their debts today.

No hidden anger will I keep;

I lay it all here at Your feet.

Forgive through me when I am weak;

let mercy guide the words I speak.

I give up every right to blame;

I place each soul within Your care.

In Your Will, Lord, I forgive;

with Your Heart I choose to live.

What I was owed, I now release;

fill every wounded heart with peace.

May Your Kingdom come through this.

May Your Will reign over all.
