Joseph of Egypt

Jesus, I fuse myself in Your Most Holy Divine Will.

I come to love, praise, bless, and thank You
in every act of Your deliverance.

I love You in the cries of Israel,
When Pharaoh held Your people bound.
I praise You for the call of Moses,
And freedom waiting to be found.

I bless You on the night of Passover,
When You prepared to lead them home.
I thank You for the sea You parted,
And the path through which they safely roamed.

I love You in the trials of Joseph,
Betrayed and sold into slavery.
I praise You for Your hidden wisdom,
Turning evil into victory.

I thank You for the day You raised him,
To govern Egypt at Pharaoh’s side.
I bless You for the lives You rescued,
Through the famine reaching far and wide.

O Jesus, break the chains that bind us,
Set humanity free!
From the tyranny of the human will,
Let Your Divine Will reign in all.

Send forth Your Spirit upon the earth,
Renew its face once more!
Where the Spirit of the Lord is,
There is liberty!

I love You in the courage of Daniel,
Who chose Your law above the king.
I praise You when You shut the lions’ mouths,
And brought him safely through that night.

I bless You in the fiery furnace,
Where three young men refused to bow.
I thank You for Your holy presence,
That walked among the flames somehow.

I love You in the prison of Peter,
Where he lay sleeping, bound in chains.
I praise You for the angel You sent,
Whose light broke through the darkened place.

I bless You as his shackles loosened,
And iron gates swung open wide.
I thank You for the path to freedom,
With Your angel walking by his side.

O Jesus, break the chains that bind us,
Set humanity free!

When You endured the scourge and Cross.
I praise You for Your Resurrection,
And the victory Your suffering brought.

I bless You for the chains You’ve broken,
For every soul Your Blood has bought.
I thank You for the gift of freedom,
And the Kingdom Your great Love has sought.

I gather every act of freedom,
Through every age of history.
Each captive freed, each chain of bondage,
Each triumph of Your victory.

I join them to Your holy Passion,
And offer all to God above.
May every soul return to You,
And live within Your perfect Love.

I love You in every act of deliverance,
For every soul throughout all time.
I praise You for each captive freed,
And every chain Your Love untied.

I bless You in Your mighty victories,
I thank You for the liberty You bring.
I gather all these acts within Your Will,
And offer them to You, my King.

Come, Divine Will,
Reign throughout humanity.

May Your Kingdom come,
And may Your Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
