Mine is the Crime of Love
Jesus, I fuse myself in Your Divine Will.
With Your own Love, I come to love You.
Before Annas, bound and struck,
I place my love upon Your Face.
In every insult, every blow,
I bless You for every soul.
Before Caiaphas, falsely accused,
I praise You in Your innocence.
In every wound, in every pain,
I honor You in Your Divine Will.
“My child, I have committed no crime.
Mine is the crime of Love,
which contains all sacrifices—
Love of immeasurable value…”
Jesus, in Your Divine Will,
I love, bless, and honor You.
For every soul, in every age,
I proclaim Your innocence.
In Your silence and Your gaze,
I place my love and praise in You.
Where they mock, I give You honor;
where they hate, I bless and love You.
Before Herod, mocked and scorned,
I adore the Eternal Word.
In Your silence, in Your shame,
I glorify Your holy Name.
Before Pilate, innocent,
I place my love within Your bonds.
Where the truth is cast aside,
I praise and honor You for all.
Beside Barabbas, rejected King,
I choose and love You for every soul.
Where mankind cries against its God,
I bless, adore, and glorify You.
In every blow—I love You.
In every wound—I bless You.
In every insult—I praise You.
In every sorrow—I honor You.
In every act of Your Passion,
I place my love within Your Will—
for every soul, in every age,
to give You all the glory due.
“My child, I have committed no crime.
Mine is the crime of Love,
which contains all sacrifices—
Love of immeasurable value…”
Jesus, in Your Divine Will,
I love, bless, and honor You.
For every soul, in every age,
I proclaim Your innocence.
Your only crime is Love.
Your only crime is Love.
